Crash Scene Reconstruction
Crash Force Consulting provides reconstruction services of collisions involving automobiles, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, and pedestrians. The reconstruction can examine any of the environmental, vehicle, or human factors that caused or contributed to the cause of an event. The reconstruction will be based upon the evidence available and be consistent with scientific principles.
Forensic Mapping & Diagramming
With industry leading sUAS equipment and Photogrammetry Sofware, Crash Force Consulting can document and examine collision scenes with a high level of accuracy and provide quality court ready documents. The use of aerial photographs allows us to produce scaled orthomosaic images that capture the scene evidence and roadway configuration for accurate measurements. 3D point clouds can also be produced and used to enhance the quality of court presentations by immersing the jury into the scene.
Crash Data Retrieval
Utilizing the latest software and equipment, the Event Data Recorder (EDR) or “Black Box” located inside the vehicle, can be “imaged” to determine what data may have been recorded prior to and during a crash. In most cases, this data may include the speed of the vehicle prior to the event, the change in velocity due to an impact, whether the brakes were applied, the percent of accelerator that the driver was applying, seatbelt utilization, steering wheel angle, and significantly more data based on the make and model of the vehicle. Crash Force Consulting utilizes a court-qualified expert in the field of crash reconstruction who can clearly explain the scientific principles of a comprehensive reconstruction in a manner that is easily understood by the Judge and Jury. Case information will be reviewed with the client prior to any court proceeding so that all parties have an understanding of the case dynamics.
